Vio­let Oster­berg is a Man­ag­ing Direc­tor in Invest­ments at Pacif­ic Life Insur­ance Com­pa­ny in New­port Beach, Cal­i­for­nia. In that capac­i­ty, she man­ages a $3 bil­lion port­fo­lio of fixed-income glob­al secu­ri­ties, includ­ing infra­struc­ture, struc­tured finance, emerg­ing mar­kets invest­ments, and cor­po­rate bond pri­vate place­ments. Her func­tions also include man­age­ment of Social­ly Respon­si­ble Invest­ments (SRI) and renew­able project tax equi­ty port­fo­lios. Pri­or to join­ing Pacif­ic Life Insur­ance, Ms. Oster­berg worked at Bax­ter Inter­na­tion­al in strate­gic finance roles and at Eco­nom­ic Analy­sis Cor­po­ra­tion, a con­sult­ing firm spe­cial­iz­ing in the appli­ca­tion of Eco­nom­ic prin­ci­ples. She received an MBA and a BA in Eco­nom­ics from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Cal­i­for­nia, Irvine. Vio­let has served on the Board of IMPACT Com­mu­ni­ty Cap­i­tal since 2005, includ­ing as Board Chair from 2009 to 2016.
