Wendy Cheung is the Controller of IMPACT Community Capital and has over 15 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting and administration of private equity, hedge fund, venture capital, and fund of funds. She is responsible for IMPACT’s finance and accounting operations, including annual and quarterly financial reporting, tax returns filing, and financial modeling and budgeting. She also manages the development and implementation for the overall accounting and internal control guidelines, policies and procedures.
Prior to joining IMPACT, Wendy was the Project Controller of a San Francisco based private real estate investment firm. She also held positions as the Vice President and the Assistant Vice President at SS&C Technologies and Citi’s fund services group. Wendy began her career in asset management with Ernst & Young’s San Francisco office where she managed audits to funds of funds, hedge funds, private equity and venture capital firms.
Wendy holds a Bachelor of Science from San Francisco State University and is a Certified Public Accountant, inactive status. She resides in San Francisco with her family and enjoys outdoor activities such as golfing, hiking, and biking in the surrounding Bay Area.
