Wendy Cheung



Wendy Che­ung is the Con­troller of IMPACT Com­mu­ni­ty Cap­i­tal and has over 15 years of expe­ri­ence in account­ing, finan­cial report­ing and admin­is­tra­tion of pri­vate equi­ty, hedge fund, ven­ture cap­i­tal, and fund of funds. She is respon­si­ble for IMPACT’s finance and account­ing oper­a­tions, includ­ing annu­al and quar­ter­ly finan­cial report­ing, tax returns fil­ing, and finan­cial mod­el­ing and bud­get­ing. She also man­ages the devel­op­ment and imple­men­ta­tion for the over­all account­ing and inter­nal con­trol guide­lines, poli­cies and procedures. 

Pri­or to join­ing IMPACT, Wendy was the Project Con­troller of a San Fran­cis­co based pri­vate real estate invest­ment firm. She also held posi­tions as the Vice Pres­i­dent and the Assis­tant Vice Pres­i­dent at SS&C Tech­nolo­gies and Citi’s fund ser­vices group. Wendy began her career in asset man­age­ment with Ernst & Young’s San Fran­cis­co office where she man­aged audits to funds of funds, hedge funds, pri­vate equi­ty and ven­ture cap­i­tal firms.

Wendy holds a Bach­e­lor of Sci­ence from San Fran­cis­co State Uni­ver­si­ty and is a Cer­ti­fied Pub­lic Accoun­tant, inac­tive sta­tus. She resides in San Fran­cis­co with her fam­i­ly and enjoys out­door activ­i­ties such as golf­ing, hik­ing, and bik­ing in the sur­round­ing Bay Area.
