Last year, rents for units in multifamily properties rose at the fastest pace on record: 13.5% nationally. While the need for affordable housing is as great as ever, so too is the awareness of that need—and the momentum to develop and preserve affordable housing. That’s why we remain optimistic about the outlook for affordable housing this year.
