Luke A. Harms is cur­rent­ly the Head of Port­fo­lio Man­age­ment for Nation­wide Investment’s tax advan­taged invest­ment asset class. 

Luke leads a team that col­lec­tive­ly man­ages approx­i­mate­ly $4B+ in equi­ty com­mit­ted for com­pa­nies with­in the Nation­wide enter­prise along with more than 30 third par­ty investor funds. He has lead­er­ship expe­ri­ence in all facets of tax advan­taged invest­ing, includ­ing low income hous­ing, his­toric, solar tax equi­ty, solar joint ven­ture, state pre­mi­um, real estate debt funds, sin­gle investor and/​or mul­ti-investor funds, syn­di­ca­tion, investor rela­tions, struc­tured finance, work outs, mod­i­fi­ca­tions, and dispositions. 

Pri­or to join­ing Nation­wide in 2005, Luke worked for a nation­al­ly rec­og­nized real estate mar­ket fea­si­bil­i­ty con­sult­ing firm in Colum­bus, Ohio. He earned his bachelor’s degree in eco­nom­ics from The Ohio State Uni­ver­si­ty. Since 2020, Luke has sat on the board for the Afford­able Hous­ing Investors Coun­sel (AHIC) and he has served on the board for IMPACT Com­mu­ni­ty Cap­i­tal since 2018.
