Lijun Wang Kaelin is the Head of Insur­ance Invest­ments of the Farm­ers Group Inc. In this role she is respon­si­ble for imple­ment­ing the invest­ment strat­e­gy across mul­ti­ple insur­ance bal­ance sheets with focus on achiev­ing supe­ri­or returns through effi­cient exe­cu­tion, man­age­ment of risks and opti­mal con­struc­tion of Farm­ers’ invest­ment port­fo­lios. She is also respon­si­ble for man­ag­ing the ful­ly out­sourced mul­ti-asset man­ag­er plat­form. Pri­or to join­ing Farm­ers, Lijun held var­i­ous roles with­in Zurich Insur­ance Group. Lijun was a valu­able con­trib­u­tor to the Zurich Net Zero ini­tia­tive where she led the local busi­ness units’ bot­tom-up imple­men­ta­tion efforts to align with the Group car­bon tar­get. She also suc­cess­ful­ly led the devel­op­ment and roll­out of the Zurich ESG Local Strate­gic Tar­get Assess­ment tool glob­al­ly. Lijun holds a Mas­ter of Arts in Bank­ing and Finance from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Zurich, Switzer­land, and a Bach­e­lor of Law from the Shang­hai Inter­na­tion­al Stud­ies Uni­ver­si­ty in Chi­na. She is also a CFA Char­ter­hold­er. She has served on the board for IMPACT Com­mu­ni­ty Cap­i­tal since 2022.
