Andrew Zim­mer­man is the Direc­tor, Port­fo­lio Man­ag­er – Mort­gage Invest­ments for IMPACT Com­mu­ni­ty Cap­i­tal. Andrew joined IMPACT in 2014 and leads the orig­i­na­tion, acqui­si­tion, and man­age­ment of afford­able hous­ing loans across IMPACT port­fo­lios. Addi­tion­al­ly, he leads new loan prod­uct devel­op­ment and the cre­ation of new exter­nal partnerships. 

Andrew has over 12 years of expe­ri­ence in the finan­cial indus­try and before join­ing IMPACT worked for the Car­lyle Group’s Met­ro­pol­i­tan Real Estate plat­form, where he eval­u­at­ed equi­ty real estate and fund invest­ment oppor­tu­ni­ties. Mr. Zim­mer­man also pre­vi­ous­ly worked for Piper Jaf­fray in the pub­lic finance group where he struc­tured munic­i­pal bonds for a vari­ety of issuers across the West­ern US. 

Andrew received a B.A. from Colum­bia Col­lege, Colum­bia Uni­ver­si­ty and an Exec­u­tive MBA from the Uni­ver­si­ty of San Fran­cis­co. Andrew is also an avid soc­cer fan and mem­ber of the Olympic Club.
