Liz Kang joined IMPACT as Gen­er­al Coun­sel and Chief Com­pli­ance Offi­cer in 2019 and is in charge of the devel­op­ment and exe­cu­tion of all legal affairs of IMPACT. Liz over­sees trans­ac­tions relat­ed to IMPACT’s invest­ment funds, loan orig­i­na­tions and secu­ri­ti­za­tions and main­tains reg­u­la­to­ry com­pli­ance of IMPACT affil­i­ates and sub­sidiaries. Pri­or to join­ing IMPACT, she was a cor­po­rate attor­ney in the Glob­al Finance group at Sid­ley Austin LLP and sub­se­quent­ly served as in-coun­sel at tech com­pa­nies. Liz received her J.D. from North­west­ern Uni­ver­si­ty Pritzk­er School of Law and LL.B from Seoul Nation­al Uni­ver­si­ty. Liz lived in four coun­tries grow­ing up, loves to trav­el, cook, work out and con­scious­ly strives to live a min­i­mal lifestyle.
