Stephanie Tir­man joined IMPACT in 2000 and has respon­si­bil­i­ty for its finance, account­ing, tax and investor report­ing activ­i­ties. Stephanie also has pri­ma­ry respon­si­bil­i­ty for the company’s enter­prise risk man­age­ment pro­gram part­ner­ing close­ly with the CEO and CCO on risk iden­ti­fi­ca­tion, mit­i­ga­tion and man­age­ment. She is the archi­tect of IMPACT’s account­ing sys­tem, finan­cial poli­cies and pro­ce­dures and the investor report­ing pro­to­cols. She had a lead­er­ship role in devel­op­ing each invest­ment fund formed to date as well as each of IMPACT’s secu­ri­ti­za­tions. Stephanie serves as the pri­ma­ry liai­son to the company’s Audit Com­mit­tee as well as to exter­nal infor­ma­tion tech­nol­o­gy and human resource ser­vice providers.

Pri­or to join­ing IMPACT, Stephanie was a con­sul­tant for a diverse cross sec­tion of busi­ness­es from start­up com­pa­nies to large telecom­mu­ni­ca­tion, finan­cial, & health­care insti­tu­tions. Stephanie man­aged a num­ber of high pro­file projects includ­ing Y2K reme­di­a­tion, cor­po­rate relo­ca­tion, hard­ware & soft­ware imple­men­ta­tion and IT infra­struc­ture upgrades.

Stephanie’s com­mit­ment to advanc­ing oppor­tu­ni­ty in under­in­vest­ed com­mu­ni­ties is inspired by the results the impact invest­ing com­mu­ni­ty has achieved thus far, and the firm belief that social and eco­nom­ic oppor­tu­ni­ties can be expand­ed through pur­pose dri­ven investments.
